sons Douglas and Fred De Saram the firm of D.L. & F. DE SARAM is one of the oldest law firms in Sri Lanka.

Former partners of the firm included four sons of Fred De Saram namely Col. F.C De Saram, F.J. “Coo” De Saram, Robert De Saram and Maurice De Saram. Also associated with the firm in the early years was Clifford Trevor de Saram, a nephew of both Douglas and Fred de Saram. Interestingly, of the present Partners, Michael Sproule and Dijen De Saram are grandsons, and Savantha De Saram and Prabash De Saram are great grandsons of Fred De Saram.

Presently, the firm benefits from the expertise of seven Partners, Ten Legal
Associates and Four in-house Consultants. The firm also provides company secretarial services through its in-house secretarial company, Corporate Advisory Services (Pvt) Ltd.
